From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reveals God’s overriding plan and desire for humanity, that He might bring men and women into a deeper and more intimate fellowship with Him. While God ultimately accomplishes His plan through the life, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ, His relationship to human beings takes the form of a promise, or covenant that runs like a scarlet thread throughout the pages of the Bible. In our small group study: God of Promise: An Introduction to Covenant Theology, we will look at the big picture of Scripture, showing how God has used the Covenant of Works and the Covenant of Grace to bring lost sinners to salvation and eternal life in Jesus Christ. Please consider joining our Grace Group, where each week we will view several short videos together, look at related Bible passages, ask questions, and discuss what we have learned. In this 10-week study, which is designed for those with little or no prior knowledge of covenant theology, each of us will gain a better understanding of God’s plan of salvation and His heart towards us. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, October 22 at 7pm. We will meet via Zoom, with each study lasting about 90 minutes. A zoom link will be sent out via a weekly email upon your interest.
