Peace to you! Beginning this Sunday, September 27th, we will be offering optional outdoor toddler care during the 9am outdoor service. We will provide 2 paid, health checked, background checked, masked childcare workers and a sanitized outdoor toddler corral in the breezeway for those families who feel comfortable using this service. We will be making every effort to follow the CDC Guidance for Child Care Programs that Remain Open.
Some toddler families will still choose to utilize our worship live stream. Our hope is that this will enable some parents to attend or more fully participate in worship who had previously felt it impossible. We understand that not every family that chooses to attend the outdoor service will feel comfortable using the toddler corral, and we support your decision. For this reason we are trying to communicate clearly to you as a parent without making an announcement from the front during the service, so that your toddler doesn't demand something of you that you may not be comfortable with.
Non-walking babies as well as pre-kinders who are old enough to color will be invited to stay with their parents in the service. Feel free to bring a blanket and toys or a pack-n-play. We are providing coloring and other activities for kinders and older to enjoy as they worship with their families.
Please refer to the posted "Grace Well-Child Criteria" below before leaving your child in the toddler corral. We're grateful for you and your family at Grace!
P.S. If you have a favorite outdoor toy (playschool slide, car, trike or something similar) that you'd be willing to loan to the toddler corral we'd be grateful. Toys and corral will be fully sanitized every week.
