Thank you to all who were able to join us on Thursday, March 18 for our GraceKids parents and volunteer feedback meeting.COVID-19 has challenged each of us over the last year in most aspects of our lives. Re-tooling ministry and outreach during a pandemic has been no exception. We’re grateful to see kids and families at outdoor worship on Sundays and also know many others are tuning in virtually. As we shared, GraceKids is in a reboot phase, preparing for returning to in-person kids ministry while we follow the lead of in-person instruction at local schools and await a green-light from our session.
As we head toward more normalcy in the weeks and months ahead, we intend to use this time and season as an opportunity to reimagine kids ministry at Grace Sacramento. Thank you to those who have provided feedback and input over the last year.
The primary focus continues to be coming alongside families to partner in discipling the kids in our care, which we pray soon includes an option to return to in-person activities on Sunday mornings and/or special events.
With this in mind, we need your feedback to help us gauge comfort levels, participation numbers, and volunteer availability for a ministry that will be here before we know it.
