Join us Sundays at 9:00AM (with livestream) AND 10:45AM

Welcome. We are glad you are here.

Our Service and Liturgy

Our worship services run approximately 70-75 minutes and follow a similar form each week. Our service order (or liturgy), follows four movements (Gathering, Word, Table, and Sending) that have been the backbone rhythms of Christian worship from the earliest days of the church. Our worship in these four movements provide a rhythm and model for the individual Christian life and for the way we live together. It is designed to tell the story of God’s redemptive work in the world and in our hearts. We consider every aspect of our service to be an act of worship to the living God, who has revealed Himself most fully through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

What About My Children?

We believe children are important to God. God made children in his image and the way children reflect God's image adds to our understanding of God's character. We see in the Bible that God's people includes all ages. At Grace, we value the inter-generational family of God. We welcome children into our worship as a vital part of the body of Christ and we're grateful to have an "inter-generational" ministry where all can come together in worship and celebration.

Nursery

Nursery care is provided for infants (0 - 24 months) and toddlers (2 - 4 years old) each Sunday, unless otherwise specified.

GraceKids (kindergarten through 5th grade)

Children join in worship with the adults from the beginning and are sent to Sunday school classrooms sometime before the sermon. Nursery care is also available for infants (0-24 months) and toddlers (2-4 years old).

Grace Youth (6th through 12th grade)

Teens join in worship but sit in with the adults for the entirety of the service.

Family Worship

On the first Sunday of the month (unless otherwise specified), we have Family Worship. Nursery care is still available, but our Grace Kids (K - 5th grade) are given clipboards with age-appropriate activities and stay in the service for its duration. Although these Sundays can be noisier than others, we are grateful for the opportunites to worship in the same space together and to support our kids as they grow and mature in the faith.

What to Wear

We don't have a dress code at Grace Sacramento. Just come as you are. We believe God cares more about your soul than what kind of shirt you wear.

Giving

Durning our services, we have a time for offering, which helps support the regular ministries of our church. Offering is a means of worship for our members and those who call Grace their church. If you are a visitor/guest, please do not feel obligated to give.
